This pronunciation course is produced by DigMandarin and taught by Spring Zhang, a native Chinese teacher. With years of teaching experience and data research, we deeply know how important and necessary it is to lay a solid learning foundation with the proper Chinese pronunciation. Only with good pronunciation can you avoid many potential learning obstacles and make Chinese people fully understand what you are saying.
Remember that an accent takes time and training to change, so it is suggested that you do only one lecture per day and practice every day. The recommended time is approximately 16 days to complete the course. You have the choice of taking your time with the course or to go through it quickly – it is really up to you. But keep in mind that pronunciation is something that involves the muscles of the throat and mouth and requires a lot of muscle coordination and mental awareness. Once you are familiar with how to make the sounds, then it’s time to practice, practice, practice before using it in real life.
In each lecture, the related text notes and daily pronunciation guides will be attached as your homework or as review materials.
